- 2003: Founded as Global Business Center, Inc. (GBCblue)
- 2006-2010: GBCblue/Ascension has been awarded exclusive—or preferred partner status—with leading hotel chains including: Omni, Starwood, Kimpton, Morgans, and Red Lion.
- 2006: Earned preferred technology partner status with Starwood hotel chain to provide GBCblue technology to their brands, including: Westin, W Hotels, Aloft, and Element and deploying and managing more than 80 Link@Sheraton computing pods.
- 2007: GBCblue releases ORION, the first and only fully branded real-time content delivery and ecommerce platform.
- 2008: TRM Copies selects GBCblue’s miniCOPYblue copier/scan/email multi-function device to service select locations in their 15,000 deployments.
- 2009: GBCblue releases the Hyatt Regency Greenville iPhone application, the first full service guest interface designed as a stand-alone application.
- 2010: GBCblue releases the Odysea iPad application, the first iPad application for the hotel industry. It was released 25 days after the iPad launch date.
